G4 Ceases Broadcasting

After nearly 2 years of airing reruns on loop, G4 has finally ceased broadcasting. The final night featured all 5 parts of the Top 100 Video Games Countdown (produced in 2012) and then the first episode of X-Play (from TechTV).

G4’s feed ended just as it had begun, nearly 12 years ago. Just before cutting off the air forever, a game of Pong was broadcast, slowly shrinking into oblivion. When G4 originally launched in 2002, it aired a similar game of Pong before beginning actual programming.
