Rubin & Mizota team up for “App A Day” TV

Former G4 alumni Scot Rubin and Diane Mizota have teamed up to host a new webshow titled “App A Day.” The website’s blurb describes the idea behind the new show:

App A Day TV is a bite size daily video show hosted by former G4tv “It Girl” Diane Mizota and G4tv Co-Founder and Host, Scot Rubin. With the production values of a broadcast quality TV show and the spontaneous irreverent feel of the web, AppAday’s style is fun and conversational, more Talk Soup and less tech review. We’ll discuss the popular, the hard to find, and the most unusual apps in the world.

Mmmm, smells like reunion! The show will presumably be a part of Rubin’s All Games Network, which currently airs 20+ gaming podcasts (along with video game music) in a 24/7 internet radio stream. The first episode is set to air (live, even) on April 3rd at 7PM EST and will start off by covering the launch of the Apple iPad. You can read more about the show at it’s website: appaday.tv

Scot Rubin exits All Games Interactive for Mystery Job

allgames.jpg
For 13 years, Scot Rubin has hosted some type of daily gaming show in some form or another but last Friday was his last, at least for now.
Rubin, host of the daily “All Games Interactive” show and former host of G4tv.com announced last Wednesday that he was leaving the show for a new unnamed job. While Rubin did say the job was connected to the games industry and an amazing opportunity, he was not able to reveal any details.
Rubin assured that the All Games site, 24/7 web stream and AGI itself would continue and that he will remain at All Games, just not behind the mic. He did speculate on some type of weekly show later on.
So what is this new mystery job? G4 Rewind is crossing it’s fingers for a G4 2.0!

Just a Year Late: Scot Rubin & AGI on on10

Yes, I know, this is a year late, but I stumbled upon an interview by former-G4TV.com-host COMMA current-on10.net-host Laura Foy with former-G4TV.com-host COMMA current-All-Games-Interactive-host Scot Rubin while digging through wikipedia. I remember Laura appearing on AGI but hadn’t realized Scot had appeared on on10. It’s a nice little piece about AGN’s past and present, although they kinda gloss over the G4 years. :P

If you haven’t seen it, it’s new to you, right?
