Full episodes of AOTS on iTunes (for a price)

AOTS fans can now froth over full episodes of Attack of the Show which are now up on iTunes for $1.99 a piece. Not sure how many people are going to buy a season pass at that price seeing as there are 10 episodes a week, but perhaps if you were looking to own your favorite episode it's not a bad deal.

Perhaps we could see some other shows on G4 popping up on iTunes as well?

Unused Star Trek-esque G4 ads?

More unused ads have been unearthed by forum unmoderator Mecha, this time they're hot chicks in space, with lots of retro and Nintendo references thrown in. Think Star Trek, mixed with disco, mixed with acid. Why they weren't used, we don't know, maybe because they don't air Star Trek anymore? Maybe they thought it was going to better than it was?

G4 turns 6 Years Old, wants Spongebob DVDs

It's that time of year! Incase you forgot, like most of us, G4 launched April 24th 2002! ...or was it April 30th, 2002? We're not exactly sure but it was right around now, so of course I had to bust out the obligatory embarrassing G4 Birthday Music Video.

Now. Who brought cake?

"Personally, I'm excited for "The Force Unleashed," which lets you live out all your Evil Jedi fantasies, and "Metal Gear Solid 4," which looks to be a technically impressive epic," said Morgan Webb, host of "X-Play." "We'll also look at Wii Fit, and see if it's going to revolutionize the way we interact with games."

Just a Year Late: Scot Rubin & AGI on on10

Yes, I know, this is a year late, but I stumbled upon an interview by former-G4TV.com-host COMMA current-on10.net-host Laura Foy with former-G4TV.com-host COMMA current-All-Games-Interactive-host Scot Rubin while digging through wikipedia. I remember Laura appearing on AGI but hadn't realized Scot had appeared on on10. It's a nice little piece about AGN's past and present, although they kinda gloss over the G4 years. :P

If you haven't seen it, it's new to you, right?

Spring Cleaning 2008 Powered by Swiffer

spring_cleaning.jpg
It's spring, so that means spring cleaning! The Shows Page has been totally revamped (in flash, no less!) and I'm working on redoing the formatting on all of the show pages.

Other Stuff:
-The Cheat! page has been updated and sadly moved to the "Classic Shows" section, for the time being.
-E3 Live, G-Phoria and Free Stuff have been removed from the Current Shows section and moved into the completely rewritten G4 Specials section.
-Cinematech, the last remaining relic from G4's launch, has been sadly laid to rest in the "Classic Shows" section. Pay your respects here, please bring cake, that's what I... er... she would have wanted.

Next up: That ugly "Other Shows" section and maybe even the TechTV Shows section?

-KnuxSon-...err or is it NukeSonic?
BTW, Cat Schwartz says she invented the Swiffer but... com'on, seriously?

Neal Tiles Serves Up Round 2 of "Open Source"

Everyone's favorite CEO at G4 has posted a second wave of Q's followed by his A's. There's lots of stuff brought up but the HIGHLIGHT is a the question we at G4 Rewind have been salviating over for years now: Will G4 ever air classic shows?

"These shows weren’t rating well when they where brand new episodes covering recently released games from that year, so the likelihood of them rating now is small. However, these suggestions have caused us to look at deploying a “classic G4” block of past shows that we still have rights to use…some shows were not owned by us (i.e. Judgment Day ) and, therefore, we don’t have the rights to them anymore, while other shows (i.e. some older episodes of X-Play or TSS or original Icons) have footage in them that we no longer have permission to air. Regardless, we are looking at this idea as a block, likely in the weekday mornings, that could begin as early as June 1…so stay tuned."

So that's a yes! Sort of! Maybe. Kinda? Cross your fingers, maybe we'll get lucky.
