GT TV airs TONIGHT on SpikeTV

Jeremy Hoffmann, producer of SpikeTV's GameTrailers TV dropped us a line and reminded us that GT TV airs tonight at 1AM EST on SpikeTV. He describes it better than I can, so here you go:

World exclusive coverage of EA’s Tiberium to highlight premier episode!
Be a part of gaming television history tonight as GameTrailers TV premiers with an exclusive inside look at EA’s Tiberium, a brand new first-person shooter set in the Command & Conquer universe. Host Geoff Keighley gets the inside scoop on this innovative game with the first-ever gameplay footage, and in-depth looks at its weapons, audio, single and multiplayer modes. Find out if the live action actors from the series will appear in the game. You know you want to know!

GTTV will also unveil a never-before-seen level from the upcoming visceral third-person shooter, Dark Sector! While Amanda MacKay visits LA’s legendary Barcade to deliver a behind-the-scenes look at how mixing Pac-Man and Pilsner has turned this not-so-ordinary pub into a must visit hot spot for gamers. Plus, Daniel Kayser explains how viewers can interact with the show through GameTrailers.com.

We’ll also get you up to speed with Criterion’s latest racer in our review of Burnout: Paradise for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and deliver our verdict on the exploits of Travis Touchdown (what a name!) in the rather unique Wii action game No More Heroes. And finally, GameTrailers TV pulls off a “Five P” combo with our preview of the quirky Patapon for the PSP

Tune in tonight at 1AM on SPIKE TV for all the action. If you miss the airing, you can catch the entire episode in high definition at GameTrailers.com or boot up your Xbox 360 and head to Xbox Live Marketplace where it will be available for download.

We hope you enjoy the show!

Hey, when's the last time a G4 producer emailed me? Or returned an email? Oh, wait, NEVER. Further evidence that not only is SpikeTV out Spike-ing G4, it's out video game TV-ing G4.

If you miss the first airing, you can watch it on their site or download it on Xbox Live.

Tina Wood back with on10

After what we now know was maternity leave, former G4tv.com host Tina Wood is back and is posting on Microsoft's tech video blog on10, along with Laura Foy.

That's all.

Seriously that's all, shoo. Go on.

Spike TV adds new gaming show, Amanda McKay

SpikeTV's new "GameTrailers TV" will begin airing January 25th, hosted by Geoff Keighley (surprise, surprise) and former Pulse host Amanda McKay (SURPRISE, SURPRISE!). The show looks basically like what they've been doing on GameTrailers.com, but with some more production value. Think Cinematech but with commentary. GameHead will presumably end.

G4 revives Wired for Sex

G4 has teamed up with World of Wonder Productions, the company that originally produced Wired for Sex for TechTV back in 2003, to produce a second season of Wired for Sex.

Wired for Sex, which started airing again back in December 2006 on G4, started again with new episodes in late December 2007. The new episodes look to formally start airing on January 27th at 11pm ET/PT although right now there seems to be conflicting scheduling info on G4's and WOW's Wired for Sex websites.

I was beginning to wonder why G4 kept airing Wired for Sex, but if the show was shown popular on Fridays at 12am, why the new Sunday at 11pm slot? Anyway, enjoy this bit of news, you WFS fans (there has to be for this show to be brought back).
