History
The Show started off as, a instructional view at the online MMORPG's. With a bit of story. G4 then soon thereafter greenlighted the show to have more story elements and, less instructional views. It was for a long time the only show on G4 with a storyline. Then, when the G4 merger with TechTV happened it was revealed that Portal was cancelled and, it would only have a few more episodes. The Portal crew were told prior to the cancellation so, that they could film the last two episodes. In the Summer of 2006, Dave announced that classic Portal episodes would soon appear in the entirety on G4's official website, however due to computer problems, the project was delayed and is still MIA.
